Degrees:
Doctorado en Ingeniería y Ciencias Aplicadas con Especialidad en Tecnología Química, Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos.
Maestría en Ciencias con Especialidad en Ingeniería Ambiental, Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey Campus Monterrey.
Licenciado en Ingeniería Química Industrial, Universidad de las Américas Puebla.

PhD in Engineering and Applied Sciences with specialty in Chemical Technology from the Research Center in Engineering and Applied Sciences (CIICAP) of the Autonomous University of Morelos. Master of Science with specialization in Environmental Engineering from the Technology Institute of Monterrey (ITESM), Monterrey Campus. Bachelor in Chemical Industrial Engineering from the University of the Americas Puebla (UDLAP).

He is currently Dean of the Engineering School of the University of the Americas Puebla (UDLAP), General Vice President 2018-20120 of the National Association of Faculties and Schools of Engineering (ANFEI), certified auditor of Environmental Management Systems (ISO-14001 ), evaluator of engineering programs for the Council of Accreditation of the Teaching of Engineering (CACEI) and member of the Mexican Academy of Research and Teaching in Chemical Engineering (AMIDIQ).

In his professional experience he has been Academic Director and full-time professor of the Department of Chemical, Food and Environmental Engineering of the UDLAP, has worked in the private sector in the secondary petrochemical industry, glass, textile, inorganic chemistry, metalworking, cement and environmental affairs in Mexico and different countries such as the United States, Iran, Ecuador and Peru. Its main lines of research are the minimization and treatment of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, environmental and safety management systems, risk analysis, simulation of environmental treatment processes and environmental biotechnology. As a researcher and teacher, he has directed Bachelors and Masters theses in the areas of Chemical Engineering and Environmental Engineering and made several publications at a national and international level. His most recent research focuses on the use of tejocote for pharmaceutical applications as well as the removal of BTEX from waters using magnetic nanoparticles.
