Clemencia Corte Velasco has a PhD in Language Sciences, a Master in Mexican Literature, a BA in Linguistics and Hispanic Literature from the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla and a BA in Food Engineering from the Universidad de las Américas Puebla.
She served as a professor at the Universidad Autónoma de Tlaxcala, at the Colegio de Lingüistica y Literatura Hispánica of the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla and at the Universidad Iberoamericana Golfo Centro. Her teaching work motivates her to be in constant renewal and updating. She enjoys dealing with students, from whom she learns through her perspectives and concerns. She likes to participate in the development of her students, fostering their constant reflection on what they learn; see how they transform throughout their university career and perceive the changes between generations.
Since 2010 she is a full-time professor in the Academic Department of Letters, Humanities and Art History, in which she assumed the position of Head of the Department from 2011 to 2015. Currently, she coordinates the First Language Area and the Bachelors Degree in Literature. |
