Dr. Christian Lagarza-Cortés is a full-time professor in the Department of Industrial and Mechanical Engineering at the University of the Americas Puebla, Mexico. He holds a doctorate in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Thermo-fluids, from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, as well as a Masters degree and a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university. He is a member of the National System of Researchers of Mexico as a Candidate. His research primarily focuses on fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer using numerical simulation. Dr. Lagarza-Cortés has authored or co-authored articles published in various journals such as Advances and Applications in Fluid Mechanics, Computers and Fluids, Physics of Fluids, Chemical Engineering Science, and Applied Mathematical Modeling. His current projects include research on variable density injection, supercritical fluids, and mixing. |
