Uziel Flores Ilhuicatzi is a Doctor in Accounting and Finance from the University of Zaragoza, Spain. Master in Administration from the Autonomous University of Tlaxcala. Degree in Public Accounting with a specialty in Tax from the Autonomous University of Tlaxcala.

He has professionally served as head of accounting and head of taxes at the company Puebla Especialidades Industriales, S.A. de C.V. Likewise, as director of the "Jani" Business Incubator of the Technological University of the Mixteca and evaluator of the 2017 PRODEP Peer Committee. He is the author of publications of indexed journals and National and Foreign congresses.

As a teacher, he received the recognition of Full-Time Teachers with a Desirable Profile by the Program for the Professional Development of Teachers for the Superior Type (PRODEP). He considers himself an accessible teacher to solve students doubts, he enjoys sharing his knowledge and experiences with them, and receiving their feedback that keeps him in continuous learning.

Since 2018 he is a full-time professor in the Academic Department of Finance and Accounting at the School of Business and Economics of the University of the Americas Puebla.
