Maestría en Ciencias de la Economía Cuantitativa, Goethe Universität, Frankfurt am Main.
Licenciatura en Economía, Universidad de Guadalajara.

Nicolás Corona Juárez holds a Bachelor degree in Economics from the Universidad de Guadalajara, Mexico. He earned a Master of Science in Quantitative Economics from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe Universität, Frankfurt am Main and a Ph.D in Economics from the Karls Ruprecht Universität Heidelberg, Germany.
During his stay in Germany he worked for the German Development Bank, Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) in Frankfurt am Main. In that institution, he was assigned to different duties in the export finance department and in the economic development department.
Mr. Corona worked as well as a research associate and lecturer at the Georg August University in Göttingen and at the Karls Ruprecht University in Heidelberg, Germany. He lectured at both institutions in both English and German.
In Mexico he has worked as a lecturer at the Universidad de Guadalajara and at the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Occidente ITESO.
His research has been presented at different conferences and seminars in Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Mexico. Furthermore, he was awarded the second prize in the development economics research contest Víctor L. Urquidi 2012 organized by the Centre for Economic Studies of El Colegio de México in Mexico City.
His work has been published in EconoQuantum and Conflict Management and Peace Science (CMPS).
His areas of interest are Applied Econometrics, Development Economics, and International Political Economy.

Nicolas enjoys teaching complex topics in an accessible manner within a gentle teaching environment to support students in their learning process and skill enhancement.
Since 2014 he is a full-time professor at the Department of Economics in the School of Business and Economics of the Universidad de las Américas Puebla.
