MIGUEL ANGEL OCAÑA BRIBIESCA

Maestría en Ciencias con Especialidad en Física, Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla.
Licenciatura en Física, Universidad de las Américas Puebla.

Areas of interest:
Estado Sólido, Magnetismo, Correlación electrónica, DFT, Lantánidos, Actínidos
Dr. Ocaña studied his bachelors degree in physics at the Universidad de las Américas Puebla. His graduate studies were conducted at the Institute of Physics at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, concluding his Doctorate of Sciences (Physics) in 2012. His main interests in physics are condensed matter physics, specially strongly correlated electron systems like light actinides. He is currently Head of Physics Laboratories at the Universidad de las Américas Puebla and is member of the National Research System (SNI) as a candidate for national researcher.
