Bachelor degree in Gastronomy, Master in Tourism Studies and Doctor in Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, degrees obtained at the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico. His lines of research are the sociology of food, consumer behavior in a food context, gastronomic tourism and the study of social representations of gastronomy. His research has been published in journals such as the Journal of Sensory Studies, Appetite, Food Science and Technology International, British Food Journal, Food Quality and Preference, Food Research International, among others. He has been a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Agricultural and Rural Sciences of the UAEMex. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Food Design. He has taught undergraduate and postgraduate teaching courses, as well as teaching updating, which are related to the writing of scientific articles and statistical methods applied to the behavior of food consumers. He has worked as an evaluator of original research articles in different national and international journals. |
