Hello, welcome to my page!

I am an Associate Professor in the Engineering School at Universidad de las americas Puebla. My research interests are in developing statistical theories and methodologies, as well as their applications in science and engineering. I have taught and developed courses on probability and statistics, regression methods, design of experiments, statistical inference, time series and operation research.

I received a Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing from the CIATEC. I also hold a M.S. degree in Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering.

I also did a PosDoctoral studies in Optics Metrology at CIO.

From 2012 to 2013 a was a Visiting Researcher in the Applied Mathematics Department at Illinois Institute of Technology.

I am member of the National System of Researchers (CONACYT) Level 1.

I have been leader of 3 research projects which have contributed to the formation of 3 undergraduate and 1 postgraduate students, 13 referred articles, 1 mexican patents granted and 3 more under examination, more than 20 national and international conference presentations, and more than 10 years of teaching experience.
