Raúl Roca Pereda holds a Masters degree in Orthodontics from the Autonomous University of Nuevo León. He has a postgraduate degree in Orthodontics and a Bachelors degree in Dental Surgery from the Benemérita Autonomous University of Puebla.
He is the third generation of dentists in his family. He has experience in private practice exclusively in orthodontics and in teaching at the undergraduate and masters level as a professor in the Masters Degree in Orthodontics at BUAP, where he also participated as an advisor in various research projects.

Since 2022 he has been a full-time professor in the Department of Health Sciences at the University of the Americas, Puebla.
