Dr. Roberto Carlos Mares Morales is originally from Monterrey Nuevo León, but his academic background was in the city of Puebla. He completed his studies at the American College of Puebla, later to take the degree of Doctor Surgeon and Parather in the Benemérita University of Puebla, becoming one of the best averages of his generation. I applied the national examination of residences obtaining a place in General Surgery, realizing this specialty in the Mexican Institute of Social Security (3 years), thus achieving the requirements to aspire to a subspecialty.
Perform the course of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Medical Center "20 de Noviembre" ISSSTE. endorsed by the Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), carrying out the certification of its council being approved for 5 years.
He entered the Health Services of the State of Puebla, as a plastic surgeon at the General Hospital North Zone of Puebla, is invited as speaker to several national and international congresses and at the World Wound Congresses held every 4 years for the management of the patient burned, handling of complex wounds, as well as in plastic surgery. In 2012 he is appointed Head of Division of Plastic Surgery and Burn Unit.
He is an active member of the Medical Society of the Angeles Puebla Hospital, American Austrian Foundation, Ibero-American Association of Burns, Mexican Association of Burns, Puebla College of Plastic Surgeons, Mexican Association of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, Mexican Council of Plastic Surgery, Federation Iberolatino-American Plastic Surgery and American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
He started as a part-time professor at the University of the Americas in Puebla.
and currently serves as Coordinator of the Degree in Physician Surgeon at the University of the Americas Puebla. |
