Areas of interest:
Teoría de Representaciones de Álgebras, Combinatoria, Topología, y Categorías
Dr. Yadira did her undergraduate and masters studies at UNAM in ? Algebra. She later did a Ph.D. in Mathematics at the National University of Mar del Plata Argentina in Representation Theory of algebras combining techniques of geometry, topology, combinatorics, and categories. She has done postdoctoral stays in Argentina, Canada, Mexico, and the United Kingdom and research visits in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. She has been awarded research grants in the United Kingdom, namely, the Newton International Royal Society fellowship and the Marie-Curie Fellowship by the European Union. She is currently a member of the SNI.

Besides, she has more than ten years of teaching experience; she has taught courses in Medicine, Mathematics, Biochemistry, Physics, Biology, Economics, Business, and Engineering.

She has been a speaker at international and national research conferences and dissemination events and recently joined several national universities to contribute to events for students and teachers.
