Licenciatura en Física, Universidad de las Américas Puebla.

Estado Sólido, Magnetismo, Correlación electrónica, DFT, Lantánidos, Actínidos
Dr. Ocaña studied his bachelors degree in physics at the Universidad de las Américas Puebla. His graduate studies were conducted at the Institute of Physics at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, concluding his Doctorate of Sciences (Physics) in 2012. His main interests in physics are condensed matter physics, specially strongly correlated electron systems like light actinides, computational quantum chemistry, and computational physics. He is currently the coordinator of physics bachelor degree at the Universidad de las Américas Puebla.
