|Dr. Michiel F. Coetzer is a qualified Industrial and Organizational Psychologist, a Master HR professional in Organizational Development, a published Author, and a certified Neuro-Leadership coach. He holds a PhD degree in Leadership, a Master’s degree (M.Com) in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and a neuro-leadership coaching certificate. |
Dr. Coetzer has more than 15 years’ experience and specializes in organizational development, leadership development, coaching, consulting, human resource management, talent management, and learning and development. Dr. Coetzer is currently working as a visiting professor at the University of the Americas Puebla (UDLAP) in Mexico and a part-time lecturer at the University of Stellenbosch Business School for Executive Development in South Africa. Previously, Dr. Coetzer was an Entrepreneurial Coach at a well-known incubation company and the Head of Organizational Effectiveness (as well as the acting HR Executive) at an international construction company, mainly responsible to enhance people, organizational, and leadership effectiveness. He was furthermore the founder of a management consulting company and the HR and Business Development Director of a manufacture and retail company, earlier in his career.
Dr. Coetzer presented papers at national and international conferences and published articles in scientific and non-scientific journals and online platforms. He also published a chapter in an international leadership book and published a book entitled Leading Business Beyond Profit. He received a Golden Key Award from the Golden Key International Honor Society for top academic achievement during his PhD studies. One of his published articles also received the award for the best published article of the year in an international scientific journal. Dr. Coetzer furthermore served as an official member of the Forbes Coaches Council in 2020.
