The objectives for the program of Licenciatura in Environmental Engineering focus primarily on practicing engineers who are capable of working successfully not only in Mexico, but within a global context, in areas that include pollution prevention and control, development of sustainable systems, renewable energy, and optimization of processes and products within the chemical industry. The program is based on the fundamental and applied knowledge of Engineering, with focus on thermodynamics, transport phenomena, and unit operations. Be successful environmental engineers, demonstrating technical proficiency in the theoretical and practical knowledge of the discipline, within engineering or related areas, and/or will participate in research and development in science, engineering, technology and entrepreneurship, guided by market needs.
