Areas of interest:
Simulación, Dirección de Operaciones y de la Cadena de Suministro, Análisis y Mejora de Procesos en Logística Humanitaria.
Dr. Nosedal currently works as a Full-Time Professor within the Department of Industrial and Mechanical Engineering at the University of the Americas Puebla (UDLAP).

He is a graduate of the UNAMs Faculty of Engineering , he has bachelors and masters degrees in industrial engineering from that institution. He has a PH.D. in systems engineering from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He has carried out predoctoral research internships in France and postdoctoral research internships in Canada, Mexico and Spain.

Dr. Nosedal has academic and industrial experience in the field of industrial engineering, logistics and supply chain, operations management and in the application of simulation for design, evaluation and process improvement.

In the teaching field he has been a professor and researcher at national institutions such as the National Autonomous University of Mexico and the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico, and in international institutions he has been a visiting professor and researcher at York University (Canada) and at the Autonomous University from Barcelona.

His academic publications include articles in the following Journals: Transportation Research Part C, Transportmetrica B, International Journal of Simulation and Process Modeling, Simulation, Case Studies on Transport Policy and International Journal of Services and Operations Management.

He is a member of the National System of Researchers Mexico (SNII) Level 1.
