To train researchers who can propose, apply, and evaluate innovative ideas to solve educational problems at all levels, through the rigorous use of theory and methodology to examine educational contents. To endow them with analytical, critical, and creative attitudes to actively contribute to improving the quality of education in the region and the country, working in strategic research and teaching positions.

  • Conceive, design, put into practice, and evaluate innovative solutions to educational problems that promote scientific, technological, and social advancements, starting from a conceptual, theoretical, and methodological mastery of this discipline as well as others.
  • Lead innovative projects with advanced thinking in academic and professional contexts that contribute to the educational improvement of a society based on knowledge.
  • Select practical and methodological concepts by developing didactic products to be used in emerging educational areas.
  • Do scientific research to conduct the committed, responsible, and ethical exercise of their professional work to solve educational problems.

To have worked at least 3 years in activities directly associated to educational and/or similar areas. To have experience in the design and implementation of scientific methods in educational research. The candidate must have a master’s degree in areas of Educational Science, Pedagogy or similar areas in Social Science and Humanities.

  • Develops research methods in educational areas in order to propose innovative solutions to this discipline’s problems.
  • Applies fundamental theories of human learning to solve practical problems in education.
  • Designs educational strategies to integrate information technologies and communication to the learning process.
  • Works in multidisciplinary teams, observing their organizational structure and rules and regulations.
  • To conceive, design, put into practice, and evaluate innovative solutions to educational problems. Use advanced scientific, technological, and social learning based on a conceptual, theoretical, and methodological command of this discipline as well as others.
  • Contribute to the extension of knowledge in the educational area through original high-quality research that merits publishing at a national and international level.
  • Forward-thinking leadership of innovative projects in academic and professional contexts that contribute to improve education in a society based on knowledge.
