Start receiving information about UDLAP and enroll in events and exams. Register at candidate Registration.
You can also create an account using the UDLAP Candidate Registration App.

Consult the calendar and register to take the exam on campus or online. You decide! If your school has an agreement with UDLAP and your GPA is 8.0 or higher, you do not have to take the entrance exam. The English placement exam is mandatory for all licentiates.

After taking your entrance exam, continue with the admissions process and create your student number. To do this you must fill out your application and submit the following documents:

    • CURP.
    • Birth certificate
    • Transcript of your High school or equivalent studies with cumulative GPA.
    • Color front view photograph with white background with a resolution of 300x300 pixels at least.
    • The photograph must not be a cropped picture of yourself from selfies, travels, social events, etc.

These documents must be in a PDF format and not exceed 10 MB.
Once we have received this information, we will send you your student number, UDLAP email, and verifying digit which can be used for electronic transfers, scholarship application and/or admission to Residential Colleges.
Licenciaturas with additional admission requirements. If you plan to study a licenciatura in International Business Administration, Dance, Medical Surgeon or Nursing, there are additional requirements that you must meet.

Equivalency is an educational authority’s administrative act or ruling that the institution’s studies are equivalent to studies carried out in the National Education System.

Revalidation is the administrative act before an authorized educational authority, that grants official validity to studies done abroad, if they are comparable with studies in the National Education System and correspond to courses in the university’s study program.

A comparison study determines which courses are accredited in the study program through equivalence or revalidation. This process has a cost for the student, which you can find on the university’s webpage and is authorized by the Finance Department.

You may accredit courses with passing grades according to what is indicated by the education authorities.

Select courses, advanced select courses, projects and language courses are not subject to equivalency or revalidation.

The number of courses accredited by equivalency or revalidation must not exceed 40% of the student’s enrolled study program courses.

All enrolled students may consult or request services from the different School Services areas, such as Admissions, Services, Academic Moves, Scholarships, Equivalencies and Revalidations, Immigration, Graduation, Academic Exchange Credit Transfer, Archive, etc., at school services

The School Services area provides academic-administrative services based on university regulations, as well as the academic status of our students from their first day until graduation, always following the institutional philosophy of personalized service with quality and warmth.

Follow these steps to schedule an appointment:

  1. Select the corresponding module
  2. Select the department where you want your appointment
  3. Choose the date and time
  4. Register your information as New Customer*
  5. Click on Register and confirm your appointment by clicking Schedule

*If you are an EXISTING CUSTOMER, you do not have to register again and must enter with your registered email and password.

By pressing SCHEDULE, you will receive an appointment confirmation email, as well as the link to the corresponding department’s Virtual Office.

It is important to input the selected day and hour (use Chrome or Mozilla).

Business Hours: Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 17:00.

It is indispensable to hand in the scholarship application in the dates established and enroll in the "early registration", cperiod, according to the semester you are entering, if you meet the requirements. If you do not meet the requirements the scholarship will not be granted.

Late applications will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Institutional scholarships are financial aid granted to students who request it, considering their performance in academics, sports, and art, with no reimbursement for UDLAP (they are not loans).

The main student commitment is to maintain their required academic status.

It is important to understand and meet the general and specific guidelines, as well as the scope, benefits, and obligations of the scholarship in which you are interested.

    • Entrance Exam Score: 1200
    • Payment of socioeconomic study
    • For Academic Scholarships, you must pay the socioeconomic study *($1,455.00 M.N.) at Unicaja UDLAP or via deposit to Banorte, account number 065 007 1838 (CLABE 072 650 006 500 718 384 for electronic transfers) or Bancomer, account number 044 356 9470 (CLABE 012 650 004 435 694 for electronic transfers). The payment stub must be included with the scholarship application.
    • Current cost subject to change without previous notice. Nonrefundable.

Graduation

Steps

    • Enter: aplicaciones.udlap.mx/Graduacionestudiante/on the dates published in the current school calendar.
    • Upload proof of graduation fee payment, which must correspond to the current costs.
    • Deliver photographs for total study certificate and exam or exemption acts.
    • Upload a digital color picture at: aplicaciones.udlap.mx/Graduacionestudiante/una fotografía digital a color, for the electronic diploma.
    • Finish your Social Service (only licenciatura).
    • Do not have debts (tuition, UDLAP Lottery, library, labs, scholarship service hours, etc.).

Diploma

    • Once you have graduated, UDLAP will prepare and send the XML files with the electronic diplomas to the education authorities, who will authenticate and record them, to later deliver them to the student.
    • The professional license is personal and may be carried out once they have their electronic diploma.

Students must pay the advance tuition payment to enroll.

    • Licenciatura: 6 units at current cost
    • Trimester graduate studies: 4 units at current costs.

The tuition cost is determined by multiplying the number of enrolled academic units by the current cost per unit. Each course has a defined number of units. All information regarding payments and tuition is found at: payments and tuition.

If you have a credit balance, you may request the refund if said balance is due to excess payments.

To request a refund, you must send your request from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 17:00 to tesoreria@udlap.mx or go to the Unicaja in the Treasury Department in building 1 office 109.

The procedure is as follows:

  1. Refund application, for which you must meet the following requirements:


      • Letter to the Treasury Department that specifies the reason why there is a credit balance.
      • Request the application (only the shaded lines, also available at Unicaja).
      • Copy of official identification (Credencial de Elector or passport), present original for comparison.
      • For refunds greater than $20,000.00 pesos, you must present a letter of authorization from the parent or guardian who is registered in School Services, copy of their identification and contact information.
      • For refunds greater than $100,000 pesos, you must present a letter of resource provenance.
      • If the student cannot do this process personally, the person who represents them must have a simple proxy letter and copy of identifications of both parties.
      • If you want the refund to be transferred to a bank account, you must annex a copy of the bank statement under your name.
  2. Refund:


      • Once your refund has been authorized and after 15 working days at most, you may go to the cashier located in building I, office 109, from 8:00 to 13:00 and 15:00 to 16:00.
      • If your refund is less than the equivalent of one unit at the current fee, it will be given in cash. Please bring your official ID.
      • Amounts larger than the amount stated above will be issued as a cashier’s check, which means you must deposit it in your account.
      • If you cannot go personally for your refund, and you selected an electronic transfer of the funds, the receipt will be sent to your university email.
