As a graduate from the Bachelor of Fine Arts you will design and produce artistic works and projects in multiple formats, applying theoretical-methodological models and resources to develop reflexive and expressive abilities that respond to the current social paradigms and consolidate the relevance of art in the public and private cultural spheres.

Once you have finished your study program, you will have a bachelor´s degree in addition to a licenciatura degree. Therefore, your studies will be recognized worldwide.

In addition to enhancing your entry skills, at the Licenciatura in Fine Arts we propose to:

  • Develop in you a methodological conscience to allow you to apply interdisciplinary models to carry out cultural projects.
  • Provide you with the bases and technical fundamentals of the fine arts, so you may offer new ideas in this area.
  • Give you solid knowledge of the history of fine arts, so you may understand the fundamentals of artistic traditions.
  • Train you to develop new visions of the social environment.
  • Likes artistic cultural expressions.
  • Is interested in knowing how works of art arrive at museums and galleries.
  • Willing to wok for the greater good and to be successful.
  • Determined to achieve goals through learning.
  • Able to create professional artistic projects and works, by mastering the necessary materials and techniques, to make significant contributions to the arts.
  • Skillful in the use of multidimensional representation techniques with a wide variety of plastic-material resources, and in the use of professional workshop tools to create artistic works in diverse formats.
  • Able to develop artistic projects that respond to the needs of the social and cultural environment, through relfection and interaction with different artistic contexts.
  • Adept at recommending creative solutions to problems, in collaboration with other intellectuals and professionals from culture and art areas.
  • Experienced in preparing regular exhibits of his/her projects, by including works adequate to the artistic context, and contribute in this manner to the professional contemporary art milieu.
