Cholula, Puebla, February 27, 2017.- Universidad de las Américas Puebla has become the first one-campus university in Latin America to be awarded 5 global stars by QS Stars. This is derived from the excellence in its teaching processes, the prestige of its faculty, and the professional excellence of its alumni. Additionally, the institutional strategy includes vanguard facilities that provide its students with the tools required for their academic, sports, and social formation.
Quality in teaching, alumni employability, facilities, internationalization, inclusion, and arts and culture are categories that, with over 50 other indicators, were evaluated by QS stars during their last audit of Universidad de las Américas Puebla. As a result of this audit, the university was awarded 5 global stars and the maximum recognition in each of the categories mentioned above.
Internationalization and inclusion are essential principles at UDLAP. Currently, we have an outreach program with universities from over 30 countries, and over 50 nationalities – between students and professors – are currently represented on campus, which backs up the institution’s global vision of prioritizing talent without considering nationality, beliefs, gender, different capabilities, or social conditions.
