The job market for an UDLAP Medical Surgeon graduate is abundant, and depends on the skills developed during their studies, as well as their specific interests. Medicine is a field that promotes research, teaching, clinical practice or surgery. You can be an excellent General Physician with knowledge in Surgery, or a Specialist in one of the four main Medical areas: Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Surgery. Also, once you have specialized in one of these areas, you can sub-specialize in one of their specific areas.
The job market is also variable, and our medical surgeon graduates can choose private practice, work in a hospital or a combination of both.
