Certification and Accreditation

Universidad de las Américas Puebla teaches quality study programs with excellent academic quality through its faculty of 300 full-time professors, of which 95% have a graduate degree and four out of ten are members of the National Research System (Sistema Nacional de Investigadores).
UDLAP focuses its efforts on providing a high level educational service through an integral formation of its students in a multicultural environment based on respect and international comprehension.

All study programs have Official Validity Recognition (Reconocimiento de Validez Oficial - RVOE) granted by the Secretary of Public Education and are recognized by different universities in Latin America, Europe and the educational system of the United States.

Our students can study abroad to widen their horizons or have access to professional practices in other countries, thus making their professional formation and development more extensive and varied.

Additionally, UDLAP has Licenciatura Accreditation before COPAES (Council for the Accreditation of Higher Education - Consejo para la Acreditación de la Educación Superior, A. C.), CIEES (Interinstitutional Committees to Evaluate Higher Education - Comités Interinstitucionales para la Evaluación de la Educación Superior, A.C.) as well as other international accreditation agencies.

The National Council of Science and Technology was created by the Union Congress on December 29th, 1970, as a decentralized public organism of the Public Federal Administration, as part of the Educational Sector, with a legal personality and its own patrimony. It is also responsible for developing Mexico’s science and technology policies. Since its creation, up to 1999, two reforms and one law were presented to coordinate and promote scientific and technological development, and on June 5th, 2002, a new Science and Technology Law was enacted.
