different sectors.
CONSULTING AND CONTINUING EDUCATION
In order to provide knowledge and experience to
the business sector, we developed continuing edu-
cation programs focused on different professional
fields through UDLAP Consultants. In 2012, we had
open programs with topics such as foreign trade, man-
agement skills, finance, customs operations, project
management and preparation for the TOEFL test. The
exports programs taught in an open classroom set-
ting were offered with the support of ProMéxico for
the third consecutive year.
The first phase of the "Misión University" project was
carried out using a virtual learning platform, devel-
oped for the personnel of Misión Hotels. Also, we
implemented the virtual portal "Saborea mi Ciudad"
(Savoring My City) to promote the local gastronomy,
and brought about "My Real Trip", an augmentedr eal-
ity prototype applied to tourism, which uses geo-ref-
erence to allow the user to learn more about a tourist
destination through video, image, voice and text.
Through specialized consulting, which focuses on a
company´s specific requirements, we completed the
third Graduate Certificate on Lean Manufacturing for
the Tlaxcala Entrepreneur Association.
In collaboration with the Mexican Council for Foreign
Trade - South (COMCE) and Volkswagen de México, for
the second occasion we taught the Graduate Certifi-
cate in Foreign Trade Program, focused on the auto-
motive industry. Also with COMCE, we consulted on
Lean Six Sigma.
We designed and taught a course focused on data-
bases for Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma; a Graduate Certif-

training programs for institutions and companies
such as Tecnológico de Poza Rica, Ozono Polaris, Audi,
