choreographers, teachers, graduates and students. The ballet Peter and the Wolf was a play that united the Symphony Orchestra and students of the Bachelors Degree in Dance.
The comedy Aquí no paga nadie winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature, the Italian Dario Fo, was presented in the Hall of Performing Arts of the UDLAP and the IMTA Theater in Morelos, under the direction of José Raúl Cruz Menéndez, MC Coordinator of the Bachelors Degree in Theater.
Casting started for new members of Zentzontle, our folk dance team, already made up of more than 20 students. Zentzontle carried out an international tour to Hungary in July 2011, and this year it was presented in the cultural seasons of Triángulo las Ánimas and Outlet Puebla shopping malls.
In the framework of the centennial and bicentennial celebrations of the Revolution and the
Independence of Mexico respectively, the third record production of the UDLAP Choir named De México y algo más… with the collaboration of faculty of the Bachelors Degree in Music and guest artists under the direction of Gisela Crespo Brito, MC was carried out. De México y algo más… was presented in the UDLAP Chapel of Arts, in our auditorium, as well as in different locations in the city of Puebla.
In fall 2011, the UDLAP Opera project was reinstated as part of the offering of cultural representation teams. UDLAP Opera was presented in several places on campus and the team was invited to academic and corporate events in different places within the State. By the end of the year, the 2011 Opera Gala was performed in a high-level program in which artists such as Rogelio Marin, Charles Oppenheim and Ragnar Conde shared the stage with faculty, graduates and students in a night full of magic.
