Once you have finished your study program, you will have a bachelor´s degree in addition to a licenciatura degree.  Therefore, your studies will be recognized worldwide.

In addition to enhancing your entry skills, at UDLAP we propose to:

  • Give you ample knowledge of organisms at all levels of the biological organization (from molecular to ecosystem), considering their origin, function and evolution.
  • Make you an expert in biodiversity and in its use and conservation.
  • Prepare you to comprehend the relationship between organisms and their biotic and abiotic environment.
  • Provide you with the necessary tools to plan and execute solutions to biological problems.
  • Place you at the vanguard of scientific research in biology.
  • Respects organisms and the environment in which they live.
  • Takes pleasure in the adequate use and conservation of biodiversity.
  • Is able to understand biology concepts and theories.
  • Tries to work for the greater good, and to achieve academic goals.
  • Likes scientific research in biology.
  • Able to develop solutions to biology problems related to the use and conservation of biodiversity.
  • Able to apply biology concepts and theories, identifying the corresponding level of biological organization for the correct evaluation of biological systems.
  • Knows organisms in their different levels of organization: molecular, cellular, morphological, taxonomical and phylogenetic for the use and conservation of biodiversity.
  • Masters design of experiments, using adequate statistical techniques and data analysis, to evaluate biological systems.
  • Able to evaluate biologic diversity by analyzing the different levels of organization for their preservation and their adequate exploitation.
  • Able to determine the social, economic and environmental implications of biological studies, for their integration in the solution of biology problems.
