ACADEMIC QUALITY
The mission and vision of Universidad de las Améri-
cas Puebla (UDLAP) provide the framework for the
University´s commitment
to academic quality, and to
the education of critical, cre-
ative, technically capable and
socially committed profession-
als who will contribute to the
development of national and
international environments,
answering to the needs of a glo-
balized world.
ACADEMIC OFFER
During the 2012-2013 period,
the academic schools carried
out the development, renewal
and updating of graduate programs, aiming to keep
and consolidate UDLAPs ranking as a quality Univer-
sity. This lets us offer programs geared towards mak-
ing professionals out of the students, so they obtain
the necessary tools to complement their abilities and
to improve their competence in the workplace.
Because of the reasons stated above, beginning in
Fall 2012 our graduate offer of professionalizing mas-
ter degrees incorporated a Mas-
ter in Sport Psychology, and
updated the Master in Fiscal
Law, in the School of Social Sci-
ences; the School of Business
and Economics updated the
Master programs in Business
Administration, Manufacturing
Administration and Interna-
tional Business. The School of
Engineering updated the Master
in Construction Project Manage-
ment, adding also a master and
doctorate in Water Sciences.
With innovative actions and
continuous updating, it is clear to see that UDLAP
evolves and provides our students with knowledge,
at the same time developing their abilities through
an academic offer with superior standards in higher
education.
