ADMINISTRATION IMPROVEMENT
Since the creation of the UDLAP Mailbox in 2009, it
has been used as another means to receive feedback,
not only from the University community, but also
from external users. In 2012, the use of the Mailbox
increased by 51%. The users received an answer in an
average of three days, which represents a decrease
from the four days recorded in 2011.
The Continuous Improvement Program includes,
in addition to the previous feedback methods,
improvement initiatives that have been imple-
mented since 2008, which incorporate UDLAP
employee and student participation. Through the
development and implementation of these pro-
grams, it has been possible to provide better ser-
vices by strengthening the interdisciplinary work
from administrative and academic areas.
TRAINING AND STAFF DEVELOPMENT
In order to improve professional and personal results
of each employee, UDLAP developed the 2012 Train-
ing Plan and Program, which focused on enhancing
general capabilities.
As a result of this program, during 2012 the num-
ber of courses to train personnel increased, yield-
ing a total of 3,156 training certificates granted this
year, compared to 2,882 from last year. Among the
courses taught, priority was given to security and
wellbeing in the workplace, occupational health,
security and civil protection, as well as the develop-
ment of technical abilities geared towards improv-
ing performance.
It is worth mentioning that the San Andrés Cholula
Municipality certified Miguel Ángel Morán Alvarado,
who collaborates with the Office of Security and Civil
Protection, as an expert appraiser.
