PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CENTER
UDLAP´s Career Center increased the number of pub-
lished vacancies from the previous year, from 5,931
in 2011 to 6,106 in 2012.
Enhancing employment options, the 10th Profes-
sional Development Meeting took place virtually. In
all, 19 lectures were given with the participation of
over 100 companies. During this event the third ses-
sion of the Human Resources Assisting Committee of
the Center for Professional Development took place,
where topics such as attraction, talent development,
learning and work success, and new hiring strategies
were discussed. Representatives from over 50 com-
panies that collaborate with the Career Center par-
ticipated in this discussion.

During 2012, 946 organizations were affiliated to the
Career Center, and there were 52 recruitment visits
to the University campus. 1,069 students and alumni
came to these visits, creating unique opportunities
to be face to face with the recruiters who want to hire
UDLAP talent.
In March 2012, the Work Opportunities and Profes-
sional Development Fair took place. This yearly event
is carried out in conjunction with Puebla Capital Uni-
versitaria de México and, thanks to the presence of
over 100 companies, opened a space for job search-
ing and international opportunities for graduate
study abroad to the 3,478 participants who attended
to meet hiring personnel, listen to different lectures
and participate in workshops.
