Learning resources

The Math Learning Center (Centro de Aprendizaje de Matemáticas - CMAT) is a place where our licenciatura students can learn math, from the most basic until they have a comprehensive understanding of math in advanced courses. First, a placement exam is taken to assess their previous knowledge of the subject in order to reinforce it, using the appropriate materials.

Another of the CMAT’s objectives is to offer to our UDLAP community workshops and lectures on math and its uses in different fields of knowledge. We also have several online resources for those who prefer self-learning.

The Language Learning Center (Centro de aprendizaje de lenguas - CAL) has specialized professors who advise on ways to improve and monitor your learning, or to diagnose specific language problems, linking your acquired knowledge to the competencies of learning a foreign language, such as speaking, writing, grammatical precision, oral or written comprehension. There are advising sessions, workshops, and online resources for UDLAP community members.

Academic tutoring is a university program where full-time professors from the licenciatura chosen by students accompany them throughout their studies to support their academic development and personal growth. The academic tutor guides the student on their chosen study program providing institutional information to make academic decisions, following-up on their academic performance, and linking them to support areas for their integral formation. The main role of the academic tutor is to listen to and know the student through interviews during the semester to help them finish their studies successfully.
