Honors Program
- The Honors Program consists of a select group of UDLAP students with the best GPAs.
- It promotes the academic development of its members by doing a research project or artistic creation during their licenciatura, under the advisement of distinguished professors, creators or researchers, in order to write a thesis or final project when they complete their studies.
- This includes a maximum of 15% of the student population by study program and class.
Requirements to Apply to the Honors Program
- Be enrolled in the second, third or fourth semester of a licenciatura.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 9.0
- Score 80 in the English placement exam.
- Not have any failed courses.
Benefits of Belonging to the Honors Program
- Participation in the initiation ceremony to become a part of the Honors Program.
- Doing research or artistic creation activities, accredited as scholarship hours.
- Preference given when nominating students for exchange programs.
- Do an Honors Program thesis.
- Receive accreditation recognition for the Honors Program.
- Other.
Incorporation to the Honors Program
- Fill out the application:
From June to November to enter in the Spring.
From January to May to enter in the Fall.
- Be approved by the Honors Program Committee.
