Objective

Train dance professionals with critical thinking and theoretical-practical preparation in dance languages and choreographic processes, using virtual environments and technological tools to express, research, create and promote dance in a healthy and productive society globally.

The Dance’s teaching learning process is based on competencies. This focus includes knowledge, skills and attitudes, thus training ethical professionals who can respond to the needs and requirements of dance stage producers in a globalized world.

  • Develop stage and choreography projects based on dramaturgical, aesthetic, ideological and conceptual components.
  • Develop stage projects in dance using somatic studies to meet society’s demands.
  • Develop dance pedagogical projects applying teaching methodologies for effective teaching.
  • Use choreographic techniques through appropriate processes and methodologies to create professional proposals.
  • Manage their own learning using digital resources effectively.
