Objective

Train professionals in Biomedical Engineering who analyze, design, innovate, implement and manage biomedical systems using engineering and health science theories, technological tools and virtual environments, to solve health problems, following current regulations and collaborating effectively with specialists and technicians in the health sector.

The Biomedical Engineering’s teaching learning process is based on competencies to integrate knowledge, skills and attitudes that train ethical professionals who can meet the medical technology and health support needs and requirements of the population, in a global world.

  • Contribute to the timely diagnosis of the patient by identifying medical signals and images with technological tools, developing biomedical projects in inter and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Venture into bioinstrumentation, biomaterials, medical signals, biomechanics and rehabilitation, managing medical equipment and promoting health through precise technical reports.
