Irais Maria Arenas de Ita is a Doctor in Global Studies and a Master in International Business and Development Studies from Sophia University, Tokyo, Japan, with the support of the Japanese government “Monbukagakusho” scholarship. Master in Development Studies held in Geneva, Switzerland with support from the Rolex Foundation. Master in International Business and Marketing from the Universidad de las Américas Puebla and Bachelor of Foreign Trade from the Universidad Madero.

Her professional experience within Mexico for 12 years was at the SAT, Pymexporta Center of the Ministry of Economy, ProMéxico, Agrarian Attorney, director of Exintex, among others. Internationally he worked at DCAF, UN: UN Stock Exchange Initiative and Capston to advise the HQAI International project, all in Geneva, Switzerland.

Through teaching, he develops the critical thinking of his students through research, discussion and questioning.

Since 2019 she is a full-time professor in the Academic Department of International Business Administration at the School of Business and Economics of the Universidad de las Américas Puebla.
