Juan Manuel Bada Dosal is a Master in Visual Arts with a Specialty in Communication and Graphic Design from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, with an Excellence Scholarship from the National Association of Universities and Institutions of Higher Education (ANUIES, 1999). Graduated in Graphic Design from the Universidad Iberoamericana Plantel Golfo Centro, 1993) and has the following diplomas: Critical Thinking (2009), Multimedia Design (2005), Digital Design (2004) and Marketing and Commercialization Strategies (2000) at the University de las Américas Puebla and Apple Teacher Certificate from 2018 - to date.
In the professional field he has participated in various design and advertising firms since 1994. In 2000 he founded BADA CONSULTORES Consultoría Estratégica en Diseño, where he currently serves as CEO, specializing in global identity, social communication, political marketing, design of information, strategic management of social networks, photography and digital image editing. He has 21 years of experience in the area of design evaluation in marketing, architectural communication, effective communication strategies through graphic communication.
He received recognition for the design of the image from the CANACINTRA-UDLAP award (2018). He is a Founding member of the College of Industrial and Graphic Designers of the City of Puebla (1994), has participated in conferences within the College of Industrial and Graphic Designers of the City of Querétaro (CODIGRAQ) and in the National Chamber of the Arts Industry Graphics Puebla delegation (CANAGRAF). He has taught courses, seminars and conferences at various national and international institutions, among which the International Institute for Information Design (IIID) Austria stands out. As a teacher he has the ability to adapt to the context and to the new generations, he perceives his students as colleagues with the only sense of achieving mutual benefit.
He is currently the Academic Coordinator of the Digital Image Editing area in the Design Department and a mentor and instructor of the Honors Program since 2016 at the Universidad de las Américas Puebla. He was a Member of the Committee of the UDLAP Award - CANACINTRA, 2018 - 2019, Regional Commissioner of ENCUADRE (Mexican Association of Design Schools), 2009 - 2011, member of the Committee for the accreditation with SACS of UDLAP in 2008, head of the Design Department of information, 2003 - 2005, and member of the Academic Council at UDLAP. |
