|Asghar Afshar Jahanshahi is an Associate Professor at CENTRUM Católica Business School, Pontificia Universidad Católica del Peru, Lima, Peru. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Pune and was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (Catholic University of Chile). He explores the “people side of strategy” by seeking to answer questions, such as how CEOs and top management teams´ perceptions, personalities, and political ideology shape key firms´ strategic behaviors, including innovation, imitation, corporate entrepreneurship and real options reasoning. He is the author of several papers in the Academy of Management Journal, Asia Pacific Journal of Management, Sustainable Development Journal, Brain, Behavior and Immunity, Journal of Small Business and Enterprise Development, Creativity and Innovation Journal, and Project Management Journal. Asghar has extensive experience of teaching for undergraduate and graduate students in Iranian, Indian, Chilean, Malaysian, and Peruvian Universities.
