|Dr. Víctor Temprano García was born in León, Spain and earned a Bachelor of Engineering, a BS in Marketing Research, a M.Sc. in Marketing at the University of Valladolid, Spain and a Ph.D. in Marketing at the Universities of Valladolid, León, Burgos and Salamanca, Spain. His work experience includes CEO and owner at MCV Consulting Network Team, Llc., member of the Board of Directors of Valladolid Business School, advisor of the Spanish Federation of Marketing Presidency and President of the Valladolid Young Entrepreneur´s Association. He is Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University of Valladolid (Spain), and prior to coming to the University of the Americas (UDLAP) as a Visiting Professor of Marketing, he was Invited Lecturer at the Catholic University College of South-West-Flanders in Leuven, Belgium and at the Jade University of Applied Sciences in Oldenburg, Germany. During his BS in Marketing Research he was an exchange student at Georgia College and State University in Georgia, USA and during his PhD stage, he visited Aston Business School in Birmingham, UK. His current research interests center around brand portfolio management, tourism marketing and strategic marketing. Specifically, he has ongoing research projects in the areas of brand deletion and tourism marketing. He has published several scientific articles on brand deletion, NPO and agri-food marketing in international academic journals such as Business Research Quarterly. He has participated in over 50 research and consultancy projects. He was awarded with the AEMARK Best Work in Progress Award in 2016 and in 2019 and with the Research Award of the Economic and Social Council of Castilla y León in 2004.|
