Freddy Palma Mancilla has a PhD in Mathematical Sciences, a Master degree in Mathematical Sciences and a Bachelor degree in Actuary from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). To obtain his bachelors degree he passed the international exams of the Society of Actuaries. He completed two post-doctoral stays at the UNAM Mathematics Institute and at the Mathematics Research Center (CIMAT).
He has taught classes at the UNAM Faculty of Sciences and talks at national and international conferences. His research is focused on the Theory and Application of Markov Processes specifically on duality between Markov processes, Lancaster probabilities and intertwining between Markov branching processes. He is currently part of the National System of Researchers (SNI) candidate level.
Committed, passionate, integrity, responsible, and mainly determined to contribute to the training of responsible people with the community. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience. He is determined to contribute to the training of new committed professionals who promote the growth of the country.
Since 2021 he is a full-time professor in the Department of Actuarial, Physics and Mathematics of the School of Sciences at the University of the Americas Puebla. |
