Doctor in Economics, Master in Finance, Economics, and Organizational Psychology with a specialty in Work Psychology, as well as Bachelor in Computer Systems Engineering by the Universidad de las Américas Puebla. Master in Neuroscience Applied to Marketing with a specialty in Political Neuromarketing and Electoral Campaigns bythe International University of La Rioja and the LCB Political Marketing Center, under the direction of Antonio Solá and Luis Costa Bonino. He is also an Accredited Behavioral Finance Professional (ABFP) by the College for Financial Planning.

With more than 35 years of professional experience in the tourism, automotive and financial sectors. He is a Founding Director of the SUSTENTA Center for Social Responsibility. Member of the Neuromarketing Science and Business Association (NMSBA), the International Society of Political Psychology (ISPP), the American Economic Association (AEA), the International Financial Management Association (IFMA) and the American Psychology Association (APA). He has conducted research in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and the deepest Factors of Economic-Financial Performance, particularly those of a cultural-psychological and neuroscientific nature. He coordinates research projects in the field of the neuroscience of empathy and altruism, the behavioral economics of financial inclusion, the neuro-psychometry of credit, the neuromarketing of populism and libertarianism and the behavioral aspects of international migration.

From 2011 to 2019, he was responsible for Mexico for the international project that culminated in the co-authorship of “Trust and power as determinants of tax compliance across 44 nations” in the prestigious Journal of Economic Psychology, in addition to publishing the updated edition of "Populism and Neuromarketing: The Neurosegmentation of the Cognitive Miser ”in the Sapientia Collection of the UDLAP Editorial.

He defines himself as a teacher with the following phrase "I live for this, even if I dont live from it", because what he enjoys the most is having the privilege of participating in the training of the young professionals of the future.

He is currently the Academic Director of the Department of Banking and Investments at the Universidad de las Américas Puebla.
