María Guadalupe Estrada Meza has a doctors degree in Structural Mechanics from Voronezh State University, Voronezh, Russia, and bachelors degree in Architecture from the University of Guanajuato with a specialty in Construction Costs from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
She obtained a scholarship to study the last year of her bachelors degree at the Universidad Mayor de Chile, where she won an honorable mention for participating in a contest with proposals for the renovation of its coastal borders in the celebration of the Bicentennial of that country.
She has professionally served as a builder, auditor and construction and supervisor. She has participated in international conferences such as: CM15-WSEAS 9th International Conference on Continuum Mechanics, Rome; APM-2016 Advanced Problems in Mechanics, Saint Petersburg and at ICSV23 International Congress on Sound & Vibration, Athens. She has scientific articles published in journals such as Springer and Applied Mathematical Sciences.
As a teacher she is approachable, tireless in seeking and sharing new knowledge, and passionate about her area of study.
Since 2020 she is a full-time professor in the architecture department of the School of Arts and Humanities at the Universidad de las Américas Puebla. And recently joined to the National System of Researchers (SNI), candidate level.
