Visiting students are required to submit a payment of 2 UDLAP units fee for enrollment and administrative costs along with the application.
No acceptance letter can be issued if this payment is missing.
All International Students must refer to the information in their acceptance letter, which states the maximum number of UDLAP units (credits) allowed to take during each semester according to their program.
Costs
- Undergraduate Unit: $2,000.00 MXN (multiply the unit cost by the total number of units taken to obtain total tuition costs)
- Graduate Unit: $2,430.00 MXN
- Dorm (shared room): $16,600.00 MXN

EXAMPLE:
Cost per unit: $2,000.00, Units: 30 = Total tuition cost: $60,000.00 Mexican Pesos
In order to be able for the student to register courses submission of a payment equivalent to 18 UDLAP units is required before the Course Registration Period. Additionally, each Visiting Student is required to pay for the total On Campus housing costs, if applying for one.

The total cost for tuition depends on the total number of registered units per semester. Students at the undergraduate level should register between 18 and 30 units. Students at the master’s level should register between 12 and 24 units per semester.

Multiply cost of 1 unit by the number of units per class to calculate the cost of one class. Most classes are 6 units.

Important Additional Costs
Students must be able to meet the following costs as they apply to their particular situation:
- Travel expenses between home country and Puebla, Mexico and during vacation periods
- Large purchases (such as computers, furniture, etc...)
- Medical expenses not covered by health insurance (eye care, dental care, and medical problems developed before arriving at the university)
