ACADEMIC QUALITY

UDLAP IS ACCREDITED BY THE SOUTHERN ASSOCIATION OF COLLEGES AND SCHOOLS (SACS), WHICH ACKNOWLEDGES THAT STUDIES CARRIED OUT IN THE UDLAP FULLY COMPLY WITH THE HIGHEST INTERNATIONAL QUALITY STANDARDS.

PROGRAM ACCREDITATION

UDLAP is accredited by the Federación de Instituciones Mexicanas Particulares de Educación Superior [FIMPES] (“Federation of Mexican Higher Education Private Institutions”) and has international recognition by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools [SACS] which classifies us as a Level- 6-Institution, which is the maximum level granted by this body that acknowledges that studies carried out in the UDLAP fully comply with the highest international quality standards.

In addition to the aforementioned institutional accreditations, UDLAP has implemented a program that actually allows us to have accreditation of 14 bachelors degree programs: Architecture, Psychology, Chemistry, Electronic and Communications Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Business Management, International Business Management, Finance and Accountancy and Marketing, from several organisms accredited by the Consejo para la Acreditación de

la Educación Superior, A.C. [COPAES] (“Board for Higher Education Accreditation”).

Likewise, Cultural Anthropology and Archeology curriculums last November underwent the assessment visit of the board of experts in their respective disciplines, and we expect to receive the final accreditation resolution shortly. Curriculums of Multicultural Relations, Communication, and Hotel and Restaurant Management have made significant progress in their accreditation process, and they are about to undergo their corresponding assessments.

At the international level, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business [AACSB] has notified us that the School of Business and Economy [EDNE] is eligible for accreditation before such body, and the Association of MBA’s [AMBA], with head offices in England, has informed us that our curriculum for the Masters Degree in Business Management is suitable for recognition, therefore we will undergo the assessments of both international accreditation institutions.
