State-of-the-Art research is one of the main components of our institutional mission. Therefore we actively support the development of projects and training of researchers, whose works strengthen our postgraduate programs and at the same time allow us to contribute to the progress of our country in matters of science and technology.

The members of our faculty are permanently searching for solutions to the questions of our time, and the National Researchers System of CONACYT acknowledges this activity by acknowledging 56 of our full-time faculty; a greater number than the teachers registered in the year 2010.
