Main Objective

To reshape the educational practice in the classroom at the higher secondary level; to obtain solid foundations in pedagogical, school and social management topics; to understand the reality of the field and to help improve and enrich the daily task of educational agents, and to offer a more human and meaningful preparation to educators.

  • Teachers, administrative and technical-pedagogical support personnel who are in active service, with a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Skills in the use of information and communication technology.

  • To apply teaching strategies and methodologies in various areas of higher secondary education knowledge.
  • To analyze and properly utilize the digital media available for the best use and impact in higher secondary education.
  • To design learning activities, applying current design models in higher secondary education.
  • To be able to build a complete plan to assess learning and offer constructive criticism on student performance in higher secondary education.
  • To identify lines of action for implementing projects to solve problematic situations in a higher secondary education teaching institution.
  • To encourage the use of digital media in order to increase learning quality at the higher secondary education level.

Study Plan

The Master in Higher Secondary Education is offered in a mixed modality through a 10 courses; where 6 courses belong to one of two possible tracks: “Management and Leadership of Educational Institutions” or “Teaching Pedagogical Skills”, and 4 comprise the common core. In order to obtain the degree, it is required to cover the 100% of the subjects, with 80 UDLAP credits.
