ORGANIZATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY

This master teaches students the tools to evaluate and intervene in an organization’s human processes, develops skills to offer psychological consulting and advising, and facilitates the management of talent and abilities in personnel.

 

 

GENERAL OBJECTIVE

To prepare masters who can analyze the factors involved in an effective diagnosis, production processes, and change promotion, and the dynamic relationship between individuals and groups in organizations, through human talent integration techniques, interviews, advising, and group management to facilitate change processes and transform environments into productive and effective ones.

 

 

APPLICANT PROFILE

Candidates must be professionals who are interested in studying organizational behavior and individual development in the work environment, acquiring knowledge that allows them to evaluate and intervene in human processes in organizations. It will be useful to have skills in collaborative work through electronic means, familiarity with computer tools, and disposition for independent learning and self-regulation.

 

 

GRADUATE PROFILE

Upon completion of this master, the graduate will

  • Identify the behavior of work groups through the analysis of administrative and human resources, and organizational development.
  • Promote integration and teamwork using organizational psychology strategies and techniques.
  • Uses evaluation tools and intervention strategies in organizational psychology, based on theoretical elements that justify their application.
  • Take on leadership behavior in organizations by analyzing the main responsibilities and implications of decision-making.
  • Develop organizational diagnoses through the analysis of the main evaluation factors of organizational processes.
  • Understand group dynamics in organizational functions through the selection of basic tools and techniques to handle them.

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, or else in areas related to social sciences, economics, administration, engineering, and humanities.
