As a graduate from the Bachelor of Clinical Psychology you will be able to evaluate, diagnose, and propose effective solutions to disorders and/or symptoms that affect the psycho-emotional state and general wellbeing of people. You will construct and manage evaluation instruments, analysis of psychological factors, and application of new intervention models to improve their quality of life, with a sense of responsibility, commitment, and respect for human dignity.

Once you have finished your study program, you will have a bachelor´s degree in addition to a licenciatura degree.  Therefore, your studies will be recognized worldwide.

In addition to enhancing your entry skills, at the Licenciatura in Clinical Psychology we propose to:

  • Offer solutions to problems using vanguard techniques of this area of study.
  • Apply essential knowledge of clinical psychology.
  • Communicate your ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Implement solutions through a qualitative and quantitative analysis of clinical psychology.
  • Evaluate theories critically, and propose new lines of research.
  • Propose solutions to problems of individual and social behavior.
  • Able to analyze social, personal, and family problems of his/her environment, proposing possible solutions.
  • Feels empathy for human beings.
  • Willing to work for the greater good.
  • Determined to achieve goals through learning.
  • Capable of evaluating individual, group, and community situations through the identification of multiple psychological, social, and cultural factors that affect their individual and social development in order to propose solutions according to their needs.
  • Masters psychological techniques and psychotherapeutic strategies, and evaluates their pertinence to formulate a clinical diagnosis and effective intervention.
  • Applies evaluation instruments of psychology, interpreting them to establish a clinical diagnosis.
  • Able to design contemporary intervention strategies, integrating the psychological inputs of different approaches to treat individual, family, and group problems.
  • Able to produce creative and efficient solutions to behavioral problems through scientifically backed interventions in order to contribute to the wellbeing of patients.
  • Skilled in writing elaborate psychological reports, integrating evaluation indicators to communicate, orally and in writing, the results of an intervention.
