The University Workshops Department offers extra-curricular activities which take place both on and off campus. Learn how to dance, take exercise classes, play a musical instrument or learn about art and culture in our creative art classes.
You will also have an opportunity to meet Mexican and other international students, which will support your Spanish language learning activities.

Registration
You can register for our workshops, May 28, 2013 in the Student Center, called the “Centro Estudiantil” in Spanish. We’ll have registration tables set up from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Classes begin Wednesday, May 29 and continue till Tuesday June 25 (4 weeks) 2013.
The Department of Cultural Activities reserves the right to
- Cancel classes in case of not reaching the minimum required number of participants
- Modifications to the schedule, place or instructor
- Admission
Please note that workshops are not part of academic study programs, and thus the costs are not covered by exchange agreements and other forms of financial assistance. Costs of the classes will vary. For costs and other information, please write to talleres.universitarios@udlap.mx.
Cancellations Deadlines for canceling all workshops: Tuesday, May 28 2013. All cancellations must be made in the Department of Cultural Activities, CE209, located on the second floor of the Student Center. Office hours: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, and 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. If you have paid in cash, please bring your original payment receipt, letter requesting a refund and copy of passport. Refunds may be picked up at the Cashier’s Office 15 working days after submitting the paperwork. Please note: no refunds or cancellations after these dates. Cancellation Policies - Cancellations must be made personally, in the Department of Cultural Activities, during the time and date stipulated on the registration forms. No cancellations or refunds will be processed that do not adhere to our cancellation policies.
- Even if you have not attended any classes, you are responsible for complying with cancellation policies.
- If you have paid in cash for the workshops, you must provide your proof of payment, which is the deposit receipt.
- For cancellations of paid in cash for workshops, you must show your original receipt and a copy of and official identification (passport). You have 30 days after the cancellation has been made or after the class has canceled to show this paper so you can get your refund. Cancellations complying with these policies will be processed during the first five days of the month. Refunds will be available 15 working days later at the Cashier.
