Amigos internacionales

The “Amigos Internacionales” are a group of students from the University of Las Americas that, under the direction of the International Affairs Office, voluntarily assist in the organization and coordination of the activities that the school provides for its International Exchange Students.

Their mission is to support the UDLA’s International Exchange Students during their arrival and stay in Mexico, and to help them integrate into University life within the UDLA and Mexico. The relationship between the Amigos Internacionales and the International Students is one that is as gratifying and rewarding to the Students as it is to the Amigos, as it gives both groups the opportunity to broaden their horizons, learn about new cultures, and make new international contacts and friends.

During the week of induction the Amigos Internationales will help to assist the new International Students through the academic and administrative processes of the UDLA, while at the same time responding to any questions or doubts the students have about accommodation, transport and places of interest within Cholula, Puebla and Mexico.

The Amigos Internacionales are a much appreciated part of the dedicated and hardworking team that is behind all of the programs that the UDLA offers. The effort and lengths that the Amigos go to, to help us and the new international students, are extraordinary. And that they always do so on a voluntary basis and with pleasure and a smile is even more extraordinary. The Amigos Internacionales are the best representatives of the University and of Mexico that we could hope for, and are always ready to help you enjoy your time in Mexico and take the most out of your stay here in the UDLA.
